Swedish School of Social Science, Snellmaninkatu 12

The building was designed by architect Juha Leiviskä and completed in 2009. The light and airy facilities house the Swedish School of Social Science, which is part of the University of Helsinki. The complex also includes an older section on Snellmaninkatu.

The Swedish School of Social Science is a Swedish-language unit with a Nordic and international profile. The School plays a significant role in the University of Helsinki’s bilingual (Finnish and Swedish) operations.

Svenska social- och kommunalhögskolan är en samhällsvetenskaplig, svenskspråkig enhet med en nordisk och internationell profil. Högskolan utgör en viktig del av tvåspråkigheten vid Helsingfors universitet.
