Forest Sciences Building, Latokartanonkaari 7
The creation of architect Veli Paatela, the Forest Sciences Building represents the simple, no-frills style of academic architecture typical of its time. Completed in 1963, the building is seamlessly connected to its adjacent Building A, which was completed in 1967. The Forest Sciences Building was named after the forest scientists who relocated there in the late 1990s.
