Architects Eero Hyvämäki, Jukka Karhunen and Risto Parkkinen designed the University’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital, completed in the mid-2000s. Located on Viikintie, the building is a combination of brick, steel and bright colours, and houses facilities for the treatment of small animals and horses. The Paatsama Hall is mostly reserved for teaching use by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
